Unity Technical Artist

To support VRChat's live ops events and content pipeline, the full-time remote Unity Technical Artist will manage the end-to-end content pipeline for 3D assets, implement and validate assets in Unity, and build tools to enhance publishing efficiency. Key responsibilities Own and evolve the Unity content pipeline for live ops assets, ensuring consistent and speedy shipping of 3D props and content updates Implement and validate 3D assets in Unity, focusing on performance and reliability while managing prefabs, materials, and lighting setups Build and maintain automation tools and scripts in C# and Udon to streamline workflows and reduce manual errors Required qualifications 3+ years of experience as a Technical Artist, Tools Artist, or in a similar role Proficiency in Unity with a strong understanding of real-time 3D content shipping Ability to write scripts, primarily in C#, and experience in building tools or automation for production Solid understanding of 3D fundamentals, including meshes, materials, textures, and optimization Strong ownership mindset with a focus on shipping quality content efficiently
