If youre looking for a role that values your skills and dedication, IPS is where youll thrive./ppResponsibilities Expectations:/ppComplete welding jobs on various structures, while maintaining high standards and consistently producing accurate work supporting our industrial construction and electrical projects in the shop and field/pulliCorrectly design, cut, shape, and weld pieces of metal together/liliPrepares materials for welding fabricate, manufacture, grind and clean metal/liliUtilizes fabrication skills to complete all phases of fabrication/liliFollow blueprints to ensure exact specifications of output/liliProvides feedback and input into the fabrication process regarding order of assembly, design, materials, fixtures and jigs/liliNotes and marks up customer blueprints for future reference/liliConceptualizes and makes fixtures/liliEnsures correct documentation and processes are followed for standardized work process/liliProduces accurate work that is of high quality/liliInspect and test welds and equipment - ensure safety of equipment, as well as strength and tolerance of welds/li/ulpQualifications and Competencies:/pulliMust have at least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted drivers license./liliExperience level should be mid-level to experienced, not entry-level/liliExperienced in welding/ fabrication, including TIG, MIG, ARC, and dual-shield welding/liliStainless TIG experience (industrial beams, not Sheetmetal) desired./liliPipe welding experience desired/liliFamiliar with common welding tools and procedures/liliBlueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbols and specifications/liliNo formal qualification is required, but a high school diploma is preferred/liliWelding certification or courses completed in welding techniques, a plus/liliHandles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, using required hand tools, and lifting at least 50 pounds/liliKnowledge of industry safety practices/liliCommunicate effectively/liliWorks well independently and with a team/liliStrong basic math skills and high mechanical aptitude/liliDriving to jobs is a regular function of this role/liliMust be willing to confidently submit to the background and drug screening process/li/ulpYoull thrive at IPS if you/pp Lead with integrity and prioritize safety.
