Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Pay (Union Rates):

• Tech w/ Electrical: $32/hour

Shift Available:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintain slitters, presses, cut-to-length (CTL) lines, and cranes
• Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and HMI systems
• Respond to breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Complete maintenance documentation and reports
• Operate forklifts and cranes as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical (multi-trade) background
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and blueprint reading
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office)
• Knowledge of safety standards (OHS) preferred

Education

• Technical diploma/degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Work at heights and in confined spaces
• Comfortable in loud, fast-paced industrial environments
