Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled CT Tech to perform advanced imaging procedures in an emergency department setting. This role requires versatility in operating CT and radiology equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Perform emergency department CT and X-ray examinations using GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE Tempo RAD units.
• Ensure proper operation and calibration of imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Document all procedures accurately within the Meditech system.
• Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines to maintain compliance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver timely and effective diagnostic services.
• Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient interactions during stressful situations.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification is required.
• SCRQSA certification must be obtained or in progress.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of general radiology technologist experience.
• Proven proficiency in operating GE CT and radiology equipment.
• Ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week, including holidays, with flexibility for shift rotation.
