Seeking a skilled CT Tech to perform advanced imaging procedures in an emergency department setting. This role requires versatility in operating CT and radiology equipment, ensuring high-quality patient care and diagnostic accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Perform emergency department CT and X-ray examinations using GE Revolution Maxima CT and GE Tempo RAD units.
- Ensure proper operation and calibration of imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document all procedures accurately within the Meditech system.
- Follow unit-specific policies and guidelines to maintain compliance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver timely and effective diagnostic services.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient interactions during stressful situations.
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification is required.
- SCRQSA certification must be obtained or in progress.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of general radiology technologist experience.
- Proven proficiency in operating GE CT and radiology equipment.
- Ability to work three 12-hour shifts per week, including holidays, with flexibility for shift rotation.
