Quick Facts: Location: 21655 Biden Avenue, Georgetown, DE 19947 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: Ongoing (Permanent position) Shift: Day shift, Monday-Friday Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Permanent, full-time Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license in DE or eligible to obtain; board-certified or eligible in Psychiatry Experience: 2+ years in inpatient psychiatry, familiarity with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy Pay & Benefits: Pay rate: $1.00/hour (competitive, to be discussed at interview) Benefits: Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance (W-2) Weekly pay via direct deposit Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off CME stipend Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient psychiatric care for a diverse patient population Manage an average of 18 patients per day Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and administer pharmacotherapy Support patients with various treatment disorders, including anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, developmental disorders, psychosis, substance use, and trauma-related disorders Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes Communicate and coordinate involuntary commitments and other legal requirements as needed What You Need: Valid medical license in or eligible for Delaware Board-certified or eligible in Psychiatry 2+ years of inpatient psychiatric experience Familiarity with involuntary commitment procedures and pharmacological management Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment: This is a full-time, permanent outpatient psychiatric role at a leading facility in Georgetown, DE.
