Overview:

A day in the life of a Press Brake Operator would look like:
-Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake machines.

-Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. 

-Select the correct tooling and dies for each production run. 

-Measure and inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, and other precision measuring tools. 

-Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications. 

-Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. 

-Load, unload, and position metal materials safely. 

-Maintain production records and complete required documentation. 

-Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 

-Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production goals. 

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate may have:

• Previous experience in Press Brake Operations, Manufacturing, or like field
• Knowledge of reading and interpretting a tape measure and blueprints
• Safety mindfullness
• A niche for being detail oriented
