Associate Technician

Job Description This role is within an end‑to‑end facility which includes the processing of drug substance, drug product, biotech culture growth, harvest, lyophilization, product inspection, utilities, and warehouse. The role requires integrity, knowledge, imagination, skill, and teamwork to support operations excellence. Responsibilities Project support: assist team as operations expert through PPQ, licensure, and ramp‑up of facility. Identify and address compliance, environmental, safety, and process deviations, coordinating with relevant personnel. Actively participate in team meetings including HAZOPs, waste walkthroughs, 5S, kaizen events, and other operations or training initiatives. Perform daily huddles, cleaning, setup, operation, troubleshooting of equipment, and maintenance of consumables. Maintain excellent recordkeeping, housekeeping, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support technical and OPEX functions such as kaizen events, ad‑hoc sampling, or protocol execution. Qualifications Education High School Diploma/GED or higher. Minimum Associates degree in science or related field preferred. Required Experience and Skills Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Successful completion of TB titer and chest X‑ray required; must pass and maintain aseptic gowning qualifications. Computer literacy (Internet browsers, e‑mail, spreadsheets, word processing). Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stoop, squat, crawl, twist, climb ladders, wear a respirator. Business integrity, cGMP compliance, cleanroom gowning, continuous process improvement, EHS training, equipment set‑up, SOP compliance. Preferred Experience and Skills Associates degree in science or related field. BioWork certificate or experience in FDA‑regulated industry. Experience with automated systems (MES, SAP, DeltaV, GLIMS or similar). On‑floor cGMP manufacturing and familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Documentation Practices. Independent and team working ability. Specific to Drug Substance Associate Technician: aseptic behaviors, techniques & manipulation, cRAB/Isolator experience, environmental monitoring report review, batch record review. Salary and Benefits Annual salary range: $43,100–$67,800, commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive if applicable.
