Medical Assistant/Front DeskGreenwich Medical Spa (GMS) is an industry leading, award winning medical spa providing non-invasive cosmetic treatments. GMS was established in 2005 with the unwavering mission to inspire confidence and empower our patients, employees and communities.GMS is actively seeking a full-time, high energy, and dedicated Medical Assistant/Front Desk for our Scarsdale location. The Medical Assistant works closely with the clinician preparing patients for treatments by escorting them to their treatment room, taking photos, obtaining consents, preparing the treatment room and keeping the treatment rooms and medspa stocked with the proper supplies. The Front Desk is a patient facing role and serves as the voice and face of the practice. They will not only greet patients in the front of the house, they will be cross functional to help in the treatment rooms and assisting the clinical providers.Responsibilities include:Prepares treatment rooms and equipment at the beginning of the day and closes rooms down at the end of the day.Responsible for meeting, greeting and educating patients on skin care products and treatmentsScheduling appointments and checking out patientsMaintaining all areas of the Medspa - public areas and treatment roomsStrong understanding of all services and products offeredAble to answer inquiries from patientsAbility to lead in the sale of product or serviceVerifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit, obtains consents for treatments.Prepares patients for treatments by reporting patient history summary, drawing blood (if applicable), preparing the room set up/procedure set up, cleansing, and preparing the treatment area, and any additional preparation needed for treatments.Obtains pre and post photography.Assists in confirming completion of consent and pre/post forms.Counsels patients by reviewing pre and post treatment care instructions.Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.Maintains all treatment rooms by ensuring linens are clean, trash is emptied, and rooms are always impeccably clean.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.Prior experience with Zenoti a plus!Other duties as assigned.Experience & Qualifications:Preferred experience in Luxury Hospitality or an equivalent related industry.Demonstrated commitment to Exceptional Customer Service.Experience providing a High-End Client Experience.Comfortable working in an Upscale Spa Environment.What to Expect when you work for GMS with a full-time schedule:Employee allowance for services and skin care productsEmployee discountPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysMedical, Dental, & VisionVoluntary Supplemental Insurance such as Hospital, Critical Illness, AD&D401kGMS employees are passionately devoted to living our Core Values day in and day out whether we are at work or home.
