MIG & TIG Welder

Location: Fort Wayne Pay: $20+ per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Welder to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience reading blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a MIG & TIG Welder, your core responsibilities will include:

1. Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal materials
2. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols
3. Set up welding equipment and select proper materials
4. Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy
5. Grind, cut, and prepare materials for welding
6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment
7. Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

In addition, you will also be expected to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

1. Welding training, certification, or equivalent experience (preferred).
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
3. Familiarity with welding tools and fabrication equipment.
4. Knowledge of safety practices and protective equipment.

Skills:

1. MIG & TIG Welding – Perform accurate and consistent welds
2. Blueprint Reading – Follow weld symbols and specifications
3. Familiarity with welding tools and fabrication equipment
4. Work Precision – Maintain weld quality and consistency.
