Job Summary St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our TCU 4NW Unit located within the Florence Hospital. The position is a 32‑bed cardiac telemetry step‑down unit. Shift/Hours: Full‑time – 36 hours per week, night shift 7 PM–7 AM. Job Description Licensed registered nurses are responsible and accountable for providing evidence‑based clinical care to designated patients, utilizing the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established ethical and cultural codes and standards of nursing practice. Nurses collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes and demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every encounter with patients, families, visitors, and coworkers. Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. If eligible, hold a Compact (multi‑state) license in the primary state of residence. Licensed to practice in the state where work is performed. Meets contact‑hour requirements for licensure, including all state‑required courses. Education focus that promotes ability to practice in the assigned clinical area. Specialized Knowledge Demonstrates knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and competence in mathematical calculations related to medication administration. Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures. Kind and Length of Experience Successful completion of preceptorship and orientation to the facility and clinical area.
