Overnight Sanitation Associate

The Role As a Sanitation Associate on the Cranford, NJ team, you will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment, ensuring all equipment, tools, and facility areas meet strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Saninate assigned areas, production equipment, and tools, strictly following safety rules, SOPs, and GMP guidelines. Perform cleaning tasks in tight spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights to reach all facility areas. Operate floor scrubbers and powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts. Accurately document all cleaning logs and records to demonstrate proper procedures. Adhere to sanitation protocols, safe chemical handling, proper PPE use, product safety guidelines, and GMPs throughout the plant. Assist with other duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor. Maintain flexibility to work different shifts; the primary overnight schedule is 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, but the schedule may change based on business needs. What You’ll Bring Required: High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. At least one year of experience as a cleaner in a food service or manufacturing facility. Demonstrated experience with GMPs and general sanitation protocols. Physical requirements: Walk and stand for extended periods. Lift up to 50 lbs. Climb stairs and ladders comfortably. Work in tight spaces and at varying heights, including using scissor lifts or ladders. Work ethic: Extremely detail‑oriented, punctual, reliable, and driven to complete work in a timely manner.
