HRIS Administrator / Analyst

Overview Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) delivers high-impact technical solutions to complex national security issues. The HRIS Administrator/Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources Information System (SAP SuccessFactors). The position involves administration of the system, analysis and processing of actions, creation of reports, and support of HRIS initiatives, all while ensuring data integrity. Strong attention to detail, experience in HRIS, and a collaborative mindset are essential. This role reports to the HRIS Manager and is highly desirable for individuals with prior experience in SAP SuccessFactors. Responsibilities Maintain and update the system, including configurations, workflows, and role-based permissions. Generate custom and scheduled reports, conduct data analysis, and ensure data integrity. Review and process day‑to‑day actions in the HRIS. Respond to HRIS inquiries, providing technical support, training, and guidance to users across the organization. Support HRIS projects, initiatives, and priorities, collaborating with teams across the organization. Maintain documentation and safeguard employee information. Stay abreast of the latest HR technology trends and innovations, recommending upgrades or new systems to maintain a competitive edge. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in HRIS or related roles. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Understanding of HR processes and data, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service orientation. Adaptability and flexibility in a fast‑paced, growth-oriented environment. Knowledge of HR regulations and compliance requirements. Ability to work onsite at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA.
