RN (Registered Nurse) - ICU

Shift: 12 hour nights, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays based on unit coverage, 19:00:00-07:00:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU with a focus on maintaining sterile technique, performing critical neuro assessments, and managing ICU care protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong neuro assessment skills and ICP monitoring experience.
• Participate in SIMs Lab for competency in Foley catheter insertion and other required skills.
• Float to different units as required, including ICU, MS, Tele with a 1:4 ratio on Tele floors.

Requirements:

• Must have Level 1 Trauma experience.
• Experience in a large (450+ beds) ICU setting.
• Possess ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Natural hair color and no facial piercings.
• Clean shave required for fit test (for men).
• Ability to pass DYS exam prior to acceptance, with up to 2 attempts.
