Sam's Club #8174 3134 E 79th Ave Merrillville, IN 46410-5738 Position Summary Develop and support Membership by providing information on membership benefits, promoting the value of company products and services, processing membership upgrades and credit accounts, participating in sales and marketing events, and making efforts to meet membership goals. Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials disposal, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Fulfill member orders (Fax n Pull and Click n Pull) by reviewing orders, pulling items from shelves, scanning items, wrapping and palletizing them, ensuring accuracy of orders and invoices, securing items until members arrive, and following up on out‑of‑stock merchandise. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations, communicate progress, and determine ways to address improvement opportunities while adapting to change. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues and concerns, and promoting the company’s products and services. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
