Job Description As a Security Officer for a Shopping Mall in El Paso, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures and responding to security‑related concerns. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access‑related concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
