Financial Analyst, Amazon Music Merch Finance

Amazon Music is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Music Merch business.This position will play a key role in driving business growth by supporting dealevaluations, performance reporting and insights, and process building andenhancements. Key job responsibilities Own, refine, and develop key areas of our deal valuation models and royalty reporting Work with the business team to build business models, pricing strategies, and value propositions and drive near‑term and long‑term forecasting. Collaborate with and present to the senior leadership team on a regular basis Manage and execute entire projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations Anticipate business requirements, trends, and variances; develop action plans; measure and analyze results; initiate corrective actions; minimize the impact of negative variances Basic Qualifications 1+ years of finance experience 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills 1+ years of experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
