About the Role

Avino's Italian Table is hiring a hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in leading daily restaurant operations and maintaining consistency during active service.

This is a floor-driven management position at a busy neighborhood Italian restaurant with strong repeat business and a team of more than 20 employees.

You'll spend your time supporting service, coaching staff, maintaining standards, assisting guests, and helping ensure each shift runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Support daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager
• Lead and support team members during lunch and dinner service
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Monitor service flow and guest experience throughout each shift
• Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational standards
• Address guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Assist with staff coaching and development
• Support scheduling, shift coverage, and daily operational needs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and food safety standards
• Help maintain a positive and productive workplace culture

• Restaurant management, assistant management, or supervisory experience preferred
