Academic Physician - MD/DO - Plastic Surgeon

About the Position

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health, is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible surgeon with a specialized interest in microvascular surgery to join the Division of Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery.

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible surgeon with specialized interest in microvascular surgery.
• Graduate of an accredited plastic surgery training program and an accredited hand/microvascular fellowship, with certification or eligibility for Surgery of the Hand (SOTH).
• Passionate about the field of Plastic Surgery with special interest in hand and extremity surgery, microvascular and comprehensive reconstruction.
• Additional interests in breast reconstruction or lymphedema surgery are welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care in the Division of Plastic Surgery, including performing microvascular procedures, perioperative management, and participation in clinical research.

Educate the next generation of health‑care professionals at SSM Health St. Louis through teaching residents and fellows in an integrated plastic surgery residency program.
