Systems Administrator

Responsibilities Endpoint Management: Oversee endpoint devices' deployment, configuration, and management. Ensure security, updates, and compliance with company policies. Systems Administration: Maintain servers, storage, and virtualization environments; perform updates, backups, and troubleshooting for optimal performance. Network Management: Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure; monitor performance and security, resolve issues. Security Management: Implement and enforce security policies; conduct assessments and audits to mitigate risks. Team Leadership: Mentor IT staff, support professional growth, and collaborate with other departments on IT solutions. Project Management: Plan and execute IT projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and objectives met; coordinate with vendors and providers. End User Support: Point of escalation for Tier III and above support issues. Key Attributes Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), and network protocols. Experience with security frameworks and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST). Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Proven ability to drive process improvements within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated success managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non‑financial audiences. Highly collaborative team player with a proactive and solution‑oriented approach. Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or relevant industry experience. Experience Required: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on Endpoint, Systems, and Network Management. Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Products and Enterprise Business Software. Preferred: Experience with Cisco, Extreme Networks, Palo Alto, VMWare, and Advanced Security Tools.
