Line Cook | Inverse by CR7 — New York City
Tapas. Mediterranean fire. All-day energy.
We're looking for an experienced line cook to join our Portuguese-inspired kitchen. If you move fast, cook with pride, and thrive under pressure — this is your table.
Responsibilities
- Execute prep and service according to recipes and plating standards
- Maintain a clean, organized station with strict food safety compliance
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently during high-volume service
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure consistent, timely execution
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of line cook experience in a professional kitchen — no exceptions
- Strong knife skills and solid command of sautéing, grilling, and griddling
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be available weekends (non-negotiable)
- English required; Spanish a plus
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Valid NYC Department of Health (DOH) Food Protection Certificate
