Job Summary:
Step Down Unit RN Springfield, MO. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in an intermediate-level ICU setting specializing in neuro-trauma, alcohol withdrawal, respiratory distress, and insulin drips. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certification and Education: Current RN License in Missouri or eligibility for licensure, BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association only, 1 year ICU inpatient experience required
• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, particularly in trauma, surgical, and medical cases with a focus on neuro and trauma patients
• Will float on a rotational basis to critical care or medical/surgical units
• The unit features Philips monitors, chest tubes, art lines, wound vacs, drains, EVDs, Nicom, BIPAP, and Airvo equipment
• Candidates must demonstrate a team-oriented personality and be flexible with scheduling
• Utilizes the Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring system in patient care but does not include any facility or employer-specific names or contact information
