Business Development Manager - Electrical Systems OEM (36399)

Job Description

Global electrical systems manufacturer is looking for Business Development Manager – Electrical Systems OEM near Charlotte, NC . Ideal candidate will have 3+ years’ experience with power systems / BESS (battery energy storage system) sales in manufacturing industry. This position is full-time / Direct-hire position with comprehensive benefit package.

Responsibilities - Business Development Manager – Electrical Systems OEM

• Create and maintain relationships with new/ existing customers within assigned territory to better understand and achieve their needs
\n
• Make visits to customers to identify opportunities for growth within our platform
\n
• Provide quotations containing terms and conditions to customers
\n
• Negotiate cost, timeline, technical specification etc., and provide consultation as needed
\n
• Utilize various communication methods (Phone, Email, Onsite visitation)
\n
• Establish sales strategy plan analyzing account history for future forecasting activities and performance improvement
\n
• Prepare presentation materials for sales meeting and demonstration with customers
\n
• Follow up with customers for any preventative/ emergency maintenance service/ replacement parts requests.
\n
• Support onsite engineers and project managers for product assessment and feedback, and suggest new technology/ solutions for improvement in their productivity.
\n
• Monitor production progress on customer’s order for status update communication and avoid any delays
\n
• Create sales reports by using SAP and the company's system and report to Direct Managers periodically
\n
• Maintain all records and documentations for system update/ data entry in timely manner
\n
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements – Business Development Manager – Electrical Systems OEM

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration and related field
\n
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience with power systems / BESS (battery energy storage system) sales in manufacturing industry
\n
• Korean language skill is plus
\n
• Able to travel domestic and international up to 50%
\n
• Proficient Microsoft Office suite and SAP ERP
\n
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills and time management is MUST
\n
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record
\n
• Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment
\n
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
