Job Description We are looking for energetic, driven, and enthusiastic fitness professionals to join our team. If you are passionate about inspiring others and eager to pursue a career in Personal Training, the Equinox Coaching Foundations Program offers a comprehensive pathway to begin your coaching career with us. As part of our commitment to developing the next generation of Equinox Coaches, we provide theEquinox Coaching Foundations Program, a hybrid, 2week learning experience designed to help aspiring Coaches earn theirISSA Certified Personal Trainer (ISSACPT)credential. In our effort to support you in this endeavor, Equinox will cover the entirety of the certification cost, Including study hours. Program Overview TheEQX Coaching Foundations Programspans10 working days, consisting of: 5 hours of live virtual workshops 3 discussion boards 2 practice assessments 1 accredited ISSACPT final exam This hybrid learning model includes virtual instruction,self pacedstudy, and multiple learning environments supported by our PT Educators. If you do not yet have yourCPR/AED certification, you will complete this during the program as well. Curriculum Overview ISSA Coursework Includes: Intro to Personal Training Movement Biomechanics Bioenergetics Assessment Protocols & Program Design Flexibility & Cardiovascular Training Resistance Training & Exercise Technique Nutrition & Supplementation Special Populations Business & Safety Equinox Coaching Foundations Coursework Includes: The EQX Brand Service Standards Program Goal Categories Program Focuses The Program Portal EquifitAssessment Program Recommendation Complementary Services PT Business Management EQX PT Team Program Commitment Participants will complete the Foundations curriculum with a2.5hourcommitment per dayacross 10 working days, working closely with EFTI Operators and PT Educators who oversee the program. Upon successfully completing the Foundations Programandpassing the ISSACPT final exam, you will: Earn yourISSA Certified Personal Trainercredential Complete required CPR/AED certification (if applicable) Participants are hired as a Provisional Coach with Equinox.Upon successful completion of the Foundations Program and passing the ISSA‑CPT exam, you will be promoted into the full‑time Coach position at Equinox. Qualifications Role Expectations Complete all coursework, workshops, assessments, and study requirements within the 2week programtimeframeto be conducted onsite at an Equinox location. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of ISSA and Equinox Coaching Foundations content Apply principles of exercise science, coaching communication, program design, and client assessment Uphold Equinox brand standards and deliver exceptional member experiences Continue professional development as you transition into the Coach role Qualifications Ability to complete the2weekFoundations Program Commitment to pursuing a Personal Trainer/Coach career with Equinox Strong passion for fitness, coaching, and growth Ability to work inperson on weekdays and weekends Strong verbal and written communication skills Timemanagement, organization, and basic computerproficiency Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful Pay Transparency: $16.08 /hourly depending on club location in accordance with state and locale wages Additional Information AS A COACH IN TRAINING OF THE EQUINOX TEAM YOU WILL RECEIVE: Personal Training Certification upon completion of exam at no cost Opportunity to be a practicing Personal Trainer upon completion of Personal Trainer Certification Premier facilities with functional training areas, top-of-the-line strength and cardio equipment, and more Access to our company discounts with various certifying bodies and countless seminars/workshops for CEU credits Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k benefits within the first month of employment
