As these grants empower communities, ensuring meticulous post-award compliance is paramount. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grants Compliance Consultant to support our clients in this essential area. This role is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to significant community impact by ensuring the integrity and success of broadband initiatives through expert grant and regulatory compliance support. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our clients' success and contributing directly to our company's expansion Responsibiliti ce:Advise clients on post-award grant compliance processes, ensuring meticulous adherence to all grant terms and conditio ns.Manage financial and reporting requirements, facilitating compliance with 2 CFR 200 and other relevant regulations across various award programs and agenci es.Develop and implement robust compliance frameworks, including internal controls, monitoring procedures, risk mitigation strategies and polici es.Serve as a client’s primary point of contact for grant-related inquiries, providing documentation and demonstrating complian ce.Telecom Regulatory Complia nceStay abreast of evolving federal and state telecommunications regulatio ns.Prepare and submit accurate regulatory filings and compliance reports on behalf of our broadband provid ersServe as a liaison with regulatory agencies, addressing inquiries and representing the company’s intere stsProvide guidance and training to internal teams on regulatory matte rs.Client Support & Educat ionBuild strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor on both post-award grant compliance and telecom regulatory matte rs.Provide expert guidance and support to clients throughout the grant lifecycle and regulatory compliance processes, ensuring they understand and fulfill their obligatio ns.Develop and deliver educational resources (webinars, training sessions, written materials) to enhance client understanding of post-award compliance requirements and telecom regulati onsConduct in-depth research on federal and state regulations specific to broadband deployments and award funding requiremen ts.Internal Collaboration & Solutio ns:Work closely with internal teams (legal, finance, project management) to ensure seamless coordination across all grant-related activities and regulatory compliance effo rtsStay informed on evolving grant compliance regulations and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the te am.Contribute to the development and refinement of internal grant compliance policies and procedur es.Participate in team meetings, offering creative solutions to regulatory and funding challenges. Work across teams to find and implement innovative solutions in response to complex regulatory challeng es.Communicate Clearly & Take Initiat ivePrepare and deliver compelling presentations, advisories, and communication strategi es.Prepare presentations and client advisories on new regulations, actively participating in brainstorming sessions to develop effective communication strategi es.Embrace additional duties and support projects that propel our department toward its goals. Leverage your experience to identify areas where you can take initiative and contribute unique perspectiv es.Qualificati ons:Bachelor's degree requi red.2-5 years of professional experience in a combination of grant management, compliance, and telecommunications regulatory affairs, ideally working for a grant recipi ent.Working knowledge of state and federal broadband grants progr ams.Demonstrated expertise in post-award grant compliance, including experience with 2 CFR 200 / Uniform Guida nce.Knowledge of telecom regulatory compliance, including experience w ith:Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations and fil ingsUniversal Service Administrative Company (USAC) programs and compli nceState Public Utility Commission (PUC) or Public Service Commission (PSC) regulations and interact ionsStrong leadership and management ski lls.Laser-focused attention to detail and a passion for exceptional client serv ice.Excellent verbal and written communication ski lls.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SmartSheets, and Adobe Acro bat.Strong organizational skills to manage multiple grants and competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environm ent.Proven ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders at all lev els.The ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team sett ing.An entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive approach to problem-solv ing.A growth mindset and a positive, inclusive approach to diverse teams and cultu res.*This role has a minimum billable hours requirem ent.Benefits & Compensa tion:Competitive salary + performance-based bon (k)).Generous PTO and wellness opportuni ties.Ongoing professional development and educational opportuni #J-18808-Ljbffr JSI
