Home Care Registered Nurse

Location: Riderwood Village, Erickson Senior Living Join our team as a full time Registered Nurse for Home Care at our gated community! Responsibilities Provide nursing care according to established policies and procedures for a home care agency. Develop and supervise the implementation of a resident’s individualized service plan, observe the resident’s condition, and communicate to the Physician and family/responsible party as needed. Oversee the resident’s care delivered by the Home Support team of LPNs, Aides, and Home Care workers and companions. What we offer No driving required! Compensation $48.00 - $53.00 per hour, based on experience Sign-On bonus: $5,000* Note: Candidates sourced by third-party agencies or internal candidates are not eligible for this sign-on bonus. How you will make an impact Partnering and collaborating in the initial evaluation to assess the residents’ needs to develop and implement a service plan based on the evaluation and in conjunction with the resident, family, physician, and/or authorized practitioner. Communicating any changes in the resident’s condition. Ensuring that the resident’s individualized plan is implemented and followed by the Home Health and Home Support agency team of providers. Delivering nursing care as outlined in the plan of care and according to acceptable nursing standards. Participating in care conferences and other resident-related meetings. Participating in the orientation and training of other agency nurses as well as training any aide staff development activities. What you will need Current/Active Registered Nurse license for the State of Maryland. Current CPR certification, required. Current OASIS experience required. Minimum 2 years of Home Care experience required. Medicare-certified home health experience. Experience in caring for seniors and/or seniors with cognitive impairment. Strong computer skills. Experience in wound and catheter care. Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
