Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
Active SC Physical Therapist license required prior to the start of the assignment.
AHA BLS required.
Experience in acute care or hospital settings with inpatient treatment focus on orthopedics (including same-day joint replacements and ortho trauma), neurologic, medical, ICU, cardiac, renal, oncology, trauma, and stroke care.
Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations using specialized testing procedures and to develop individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-term goals.
Experience supervising or coordinating a treatment team and working with PTAs to set patient goals.
Proficiency in medical documentation consistent with APTA standards of care.
Preferred: experience with high-volume inpatient caseloads, including conducting approximately 8–12 evaluations per shift.
