Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking an FP&A individual to join their growing team. This position is remote-hybrid based out of NYC. This job is onsite 3days per week and remote 2days per week. This position is starting on a temporary basis for 6months. Qualified candidates will be contacted immediately. Responsibilities: Assist with financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and internal reporting to help evaluate and improve the firm's financial performance. Gather and analyze data from multiple systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to produce accurate reports and support business initiatives. Contribute to scenario planning, forecasting, and sensitivity analyses for both existing operations and new business opportunities. Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor fund performance, including key metrics such as IRR, serving as a primary Finance contact to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Collaborate with the Accounting team to review financial results, analyze budget-to-actual variances, identify trends, and support ongoing reporting initiatives. Work alongside business leaders to evaluate departmental revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance through regular reporting and analysis. Support strategic initiatives and business transformation projects in partnership with the Strategy and Corporate Development team, tracking progress and measuring results. Develop, maintain, and enhance internal financial reports and dashboards using OneStream. Validate financial information included in investor materials, marketing presentations, and other external communications to ensure consistency and accuracy. Review and approve financial content used in asset management marketing materials and investor presentations. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance. Prior experience within financial services, ideally supporting an asset management organization. Working experience with financial planning and reporting platform OneStream Preferred: CPA, CFA, or MBA designation is a plus. Skills Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to investigate issues beyond the surface level. Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify meaningful trends, and communicate actionable recommendations.
