School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Fishers, Indiana

Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a homebound student's virtual learning experience. In this unique role, you'll provide essential medical care in a nurturing home environment located near Fishers, IN. Working closely with the student, their parent, and a paraeducator, you'll offer critical nursing support during online classes for two hours each day, Monday through Friday.


Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
• Experience in a school, pediatric, or home health setting preferred
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families and educational team members
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable

What You'll Do:

• Monitor the student's vital signs and overall health status during virtual learning sessions
• Assist the student with toileting and any personal care needs as required
• Administer prescribed medications and respond to minor medical needs as necessary
• Communicate clearly with the parent, paraeducator, and instructional assistant for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing interventions
• Support a safe, engaging, and positive environment for learning
