OB TECH (CERTIFIED) (PER DIEM)

Responsibilities Responsible for performing patient care, patient service activities, procedures, clerical duties and assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Qualifications Graduate of approved Operating Room Technical School or one (1) year of on-the-job experience in a major operating room. Experience One (1) year ORT job experience in a major operating room may replace OR Technical School requirement. License/Certification Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or per NRS 449.2185, sec. 1.(c) "Engaged in the practice of surgical technology in a health care facility before January 1, 2018". Current BLS Certification. Other Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
