Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, SLPs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, all-inclusive care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Share knowledge and methods with patients and their families to enhance ongoing recovery at home.
• Monitor Progress: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to ensure patients are making consistent progress.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy obtained from an accredited program.
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
