Make a real impact supporting elementary learners as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school environment near Bourbonnais, IL. Desired Background and Credentials:
- Master’s degree is required
- Valid PEL and LBS1 endorsements
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with elementary age groups and individualized education planning

Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver engaging instruction and adapt curriculum for diverse learning abilities
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Track student progress by collecting data and reporting on goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing communication with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
