Accounts Payable Manager

I am partnering with a well-established organization that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee accounts payable operations and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day AP functions while collaborating with internal stakeholders across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the accounts payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions Supervise, mentor, and develop team members Monitor workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness Participate in the development and maintenance of internal controls and operational procedures Assist with issue resolution, vendor communication, and payment-related inquiries Prepare reporting and analysis to support management decision-making Collaborate with accounting and operational teams on process improvements and special projects Support audit requests and maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives and help implement best practices across the department Qualifications Previous experience in managing accounts payable, accounting operations, or a related finance function Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications Strong communication and relationship-building skills #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH Recruitment Solutions
