Job DescriptionRole OverviewElectrician III are highly skilled electrician who can take ownership of complex electrical work, solve problems quickly, support commissioning and repairs, and help guide less experienced team members. If you're the kind of person others turn to when the wiring gets complicated, the troubleshooting gets tough, or the project needs someone to step up and lead the work forward, this role is built for you.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, modify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environmentLead complex electrical installations, modifications, and repair work with minimal oversightInterpret electrical schematics, blueprints, project drawings, and customer specifications to execute high-quality workPlan and lay out electrical installations to improve functionality, reduce waste, and support long-term maintenance accessDiagnose and resolve advanced electrical issues, including issues involving controls, wiring systems, equipment, and related componentsSupport equipment startup, testing, and commissioning activitiesServe as a technical resource for the electrical team and help solve problems that impact production, quality, or project schedulesMentor and support Electrical Support, Electrician I, and Electrician II team membersHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe electrical shop and facilityComplete required documentation and support occasional travel to customer job sites when neededFollow and reinforce all safety requirements, including OSHA, Haz-Com, Lockout/Tagout, and confined space procedureWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent experience requiredJourneyman's or Master Certification on DPOR preferredMinimum of 5 - 10 years of electrical experience in manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or related environments preferredStrong knowledge of electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, and system layoutAbility to work independently and make sound decisions on complex electrical tasksAdvanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and project specificationsExperience troubleshooting both low-voltage and high-voltage systemsStrong leadership presence, communication skills, and ability to support less experienced electriciansCommitment to safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvementPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and move throughout an 8+ hour shiftAbility to climb ladders and work in confined spaces when neededAbility to work around low-voltage and high-voltage systems safelyWhat Success Looks LikeAn Electrician III is a senior-level contributor who not only handles advanced electrical work, but also helps raise the level of the team.
