The Externals Group are working with a well-established roofing contractor that prioritizes people, culture, and doing things the right way. Their Metal Shop plays a key role in keeping projects moving, and they're looking for a dependable, hands-on Shop Foreman to join the team.

A Day in the Life:

• Review, program, and fabricate all metal orders to meet quality and production standards
• Maintain organization and functionality of on-site materials and inventory in the Metal Shop
• Submit costing sheets for the Project Management team
• Prioritize and organize production of orders based on the best interest of the company
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve to keep production running smoothly
• Assist coworkers across the Main Office, Metal Shop, and Warehouse as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop and property, including general yard work and upkeep
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Team Members and customers, and help hold others accountable to company standards

Key Requirements:

• Experience in metal shop fabrication or a similar hands-on production role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A reliable, team-first attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed
• Comfortable following and enforcing company rules, safety standards, and quality procedures
