In addition, Project Engineers are the key technical interfaces to Customers and have the responsibility to interact with Customers at every phase of the program lifecycle.Essential Functions:Planning and execution of program activitiesDocumenting and approval of program plansEnsuring life-cycle process adherenceRisk identification and managementCustomer and Senior Leadership interactionOverall program coordination during the program lifecycleQualifications:Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 12 years of prior related experience.An active DoD Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret (SCI) Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget.Demonstrated experience understanding of engineering processes and policiesDemonstrated experience in Aircraft Integration, Test and DeliveryDemonstrated experience in one of the following disciplines:Software/Hardware EngineeringSystems Engineering (including Test Engineering)Project EngineeringPreferred Additional Skills:Demonstrated experience in leadership by being a Task Leader, IPT Leader, and/or Functional Manager, or other similar leadership rolesExceptional ability to communicate with internal and external customer stakeholdersRC-135 Weapon System ExperienceExposure to control drawing specifications and aero wiring diagramsAbility to find suitable substitutes for obsolete partsAbility to work with many other groups including internal HW, SW, and Aero teams, along with external USAF customer and external hardware vendorsExperience with KVM systemsGeneral knowledge of network switches, KG encryptors, RF/IF hardware, and NASUnderstanding of DO-160 environmental testing requirementsWillingness to generate system wiring diagrams and server configuration documentationUnderstanding of L3Harris bid process.L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
