Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Compact license required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: High Risk Obstetric care experience Magnesium experience Epic charting experience Experience with Pitocin and Foley catheter Experience managing postpartum hemorrhage Ability to care for 4 couplets standard Experience with substance withdrawal Description: This position requires experience in a high-volume, high-census facility. The Registered Nurse will work with high-risk obstetric patients. The patient population is diverse. The focus is on postpartum treatment following delivery. Candidates must have experience with magnesium sulfate therapy. Familiarity with Epic charting is essential. Management of postpartum hemorrhage is crucial. The ability to handle four couplets is the standard. Candidates should be experienced in substance withdrawal care. Preferred experience with JADA. Weekend shifts required: six weekend days per contract.
