Talent Acquisition Consultant II

Job Title Talent Acquisition Consultant II (Human Resources Administration) Location Atlanta Campus Shift 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM Salary $50,100 – $55,100 Job Type Full Time (Benefits Eligible) Overview Talent Acquisition Consultant II ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout recruitment and hiring processes. They collaborate with Human Resource Officers to align sourcing and hiring strategies with compliance guidelines and build effective partnerships with colleges and divisions served. Key Responsibilities Assess hiring manager needs and develop a recruitment strategy, including a calendar, sources, and qualification criteria. Identify required professional and technical knowledge; coordinate changes in Minimum Hiring Standards with the Classification and Compensation Unit. Utilize creative sourcing methods, including social media, to build a qualified applicant pool. Recruit for hard‑to‑fill positions. Support hiring managers in requisition preparation, writing position specifications, determining salary ranges, selecting skill demonstrations, and credit checks. Plan and attend career fairs and stay abreast of labor‑market changes. Advise hiring managers throughout recruitment and selection, ensuring compliance with procedures. Provide instruction to managers and HR administrators on compliance with recruitment practices. Seek value‑add services for hiring managers and applicants, focusing on their needs. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Consultant I to monitor screening for adherence to specifications and standards. Qualifications Minimum Hiring Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience, or equivalent combination. Preferred Hiring Qualifications Experience supporting recruitment in higher education or similarly regulated environment. Managing high‑volume requisition load while maintaining quality and timeliness. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and organizational needs. Sound judgment and discretion advising hiring managers. Quick learner of new systems and policies. Strong consulting and relationship‑building skills. Experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Taleo) and using data to inform strategy. Salary Salary offers determined based on candidate qualifications in relation to the Minimum Hiring Standards.
