Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Operating Room experience; Total Joint experience required; Previous travel experience highly preferred License: Active State License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) Must-Have: - Circulating experience is required - Proficient in Orthopedic, General, Endoscopic, Sports Medicine, Gynecological, and C-Section cases Description: Housing options in the area can be challenging. Candidates are encouraged to explore housing options before applying. The ideal candidate may need a camper, as campgrounds in the area have openings. The range of surgeries and procedures performed includes Orthopedic, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Obstetrics/Gynecology, General Surgery, and Endoscopy. The Surgical Services Unit consists of 2 Operating Rooms and 1 Endoscopy Suite. The unit handles 40-50 cases per week, with daily case numbers varying depending on the service line. Daily cases may range from 1-4 or 5-12 Endoscopies. Local candidates are not eligible; applicants must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of application. Please include a permanent address in the application file. RTO requests should be limited, as this is a small critical access facility.
