Make a meaningful impact on students' lives by providing essential psychological services in an engaging elementary school environment. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for those who are passionate about supporting young learners and collaborating with educational staff to foster academic, social, and emotional development. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, on a welcoming campus located near Glendale, AZ.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP processes, and special education law
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective consultation with staff, students, and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address students’ academic and behavioral challenges
- Consult with school staff regarding best practices for supporting student success
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school climate for all students
