Senior Accountant

National company with a long-history of stability, recognized for a top company culture, tenured employees and excellent benefits is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will have diverse responsibilities, handling traditional month end close, financial reporting, and accounts payable & accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have strong process improvement experience, excellent systems skills, and an intellectual curiosity and ability to look at processes and make recommendations to improve the department. Strong Excel skills, high attention to detail, and most importantly, a positive attitude, team-player mentality. The team is looking for a personality above skillset and wants to find an individual who will thrive in the culture and grow long term with the company. Qualifications BS, Accounting or related CPA is a plus but not required General accounting knowledge, GAAP experience, month end close, financial statement prep, fixed assets a plus Experience with AP / AR and other operational accounting areas a plus Process-improvement-minded, able to make suggestions about how to run things more efficiently Desire to grow with the organization #J-18808-Ljbffr SDL Search Partners
