What You Will Do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this critical role you will support timely and accurate month-end closings, financial reporting and variance analysis, as well as manage complex financial data and contribute to financial planning and budgeting.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, detail balance sheet account reconciliations ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with month and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments, inventory and cost accounting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal company policies.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends, variances or areas for improvement.
• Support the preparation of internal and external financial reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably within a fast-growing food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, or inventory-heavy business.
• Demonstrated experience with tight month-end closings and variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Ability to streamline accounting operations.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with internal teams and external partners.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, analytical review).
