Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper Are you a seasoned accounting professional who thrives on ownership, precision, and impact? We are seeking a Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper who is ready to step into a highly autonomous role and become a key part of our financial operations. As part of The Panther Group, you will work end-to-end across the accounting cycle, optimize processes, and demonstrate mastery in SAP. What You’ll Own: Manage and record all financial transactions in SAP. Oversee the full AP/AR cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare monthly P&L statements and balance sheets, and other key reports. Reconcile bank accounts, GL accounts, and vendor/customer balances. Prepare and issue invoices and manage payment cycles. Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closes. Maintain organized, compliant financial records. Partner with our CPA on financial statements, tax filings, and timely tax payments. Cross‑Functional & Operational Support: Support payroll processing (Paychex experience a plus). Manage insurance documentation, renewals, and vendor relationships. Ensure adherence to internal procedures and accounting standards. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. What You Bring: 6+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Strong proficiency in SAP (mandatory). Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows. Exceptional accuracy, organization, and follow‑through. Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Additional Information: Location: Greater Boston, Massachusetts. Seniority Level: Associate. Employment Type: Full‑time.
