Responsibilities Perform and document patient assessment, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs and responses Administer respiratory care therapies: oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, chest physiotherapy Assist with placement of artificial airways; initiate, monitor and maintain mechanical ventilation Monitor patients for therapeutic responses; notify provider and intervene as appropriate Assist with transportation of ventilator‑dependent patients Respond to emergent patient situations to ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (NBRC-RRT) or equivalent Associate degree in respiratory therapy or related field We are an equal opportunity employer.
