This is a critical position supporting highly automated production equipment, including European-manufactured machinery and PLC-controlled systems.Your Mission:Your mission is to be the go-to troubleshooter on the production floor. You’ll independently diagnose complex equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete repairs with minimal supervision. Your work will directly prevent downtime, keep production on schedule, and improve the reliability of our automated manufacturing processes.What You’ll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It):Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair automated production machinery.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on European-manufactured equipment, CNC machines, saws, routers, edgebanders, sanders, paint and finishing systems, and conveyors.Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and identify problems involving sensors, inputs, outputs, relays, motors, drives, and control systems.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.Use diagnostic tools and a systematic troubleshooting process to determine the root cause of equipment failures.Respond quickly to production breakdowns and complete repairs safely with minimal direction.Recommend and implement improvements that reduce downtime and increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records to support data-driven decisions.Follow and enforce plant safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and machine-guarding standards.What We’re Looking For:A technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.3–5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing automated manufacturing or production machinery.Proven ability to diagnose complex equipment issues and work independently without constant supervision.Hands-on experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled production equipment.Experience working with European automated machinery is strongly preferred.Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatics, and hydraulics.Ability to confidently read blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.A self-motivated, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during equipment breakdowns.At Wisenbaker, we don’t just support the homebuilding industry—we help build it from the ground up.
