Pay Rate: $60 - $68/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform general ultrasound examinations and provide quality imaging in a small ultrasound department.

Required Qualifications

• Active California state license; pending license accepted.

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience.

• First-time travelers are welcome.

• Experience working independently in a small ultrasound department preferred.

• Ability to work variable day and night shifts.

• Ability to work occasional weekends as needed for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound examinations according to department protocols.

• Provide quality imaging for approximately 6–12 patients per day.

• Operate ultrasound equipment, including portable equipment.

• Adapt to varying patient volumes and clinical needs.

• Accurately document and maintain patient and imaging records.

• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.

• Follow patient safety, infection-control, and departmental protocols.

• Maintain professionalism and quality patient care throughout each examination.
