Director of HRIS

Job Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of HRIS analysts and specialists, fostering a high‑performance culture. Develop and execute a 3‑year HR technology roadmap, aligning Workday capabilities with strategic goals and domestic and international priorities. Own the end‑to‑end Workday environment, managing configuration, integrations, business processes, and security. Lead optimization of Workday modules, including Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Benefits, Talent/Performance, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Payroll, and Prism Analytics. Ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of all HR data; develop advanced dashboards and reporting to provide actionable insights. Lead planning and execution of Workday feature releases, including impact assessment, testing, and training. Partner with HR, IT, and Finance to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure optimal integration within HR, Finance, IT, and other platforms. Manage HRIS vendor relationships, including contract renewals and SLA management. Qualifications & Requirements 7+ years of progressive HRIS experience, with at least 3 years of hands‑on end‑to‑end Workday implementation and administration. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Expert knowledge of Workday configuration, multiple system integrations, business process framework, and security; advanced compensation and payroll experience preferred. At least 3 years of experience directly leading teams. Proven experience in leading large‑scale HRIS transformations or system implementations, preferably in a global environment. Strong understanding of integrations and data management tools. Workday Certified Professional (Core HCM or other modules) preferred. Key Competencies Strategic systems thinking with a focus on automation and user experience. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to act as a change agent. Additional Requirements 5% travel may be required. Physical demands include occasional push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25lbs; office environment, phone and computer use.
