Social Media Marketing Associate

The Social Media Marketing Associate will partner with Brand Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing teams to help facilitate a number of marketing tasks specific to digital marketing, brand partner relationships, and social media management. The ideal candidate will possess strong communications skills, is highly organized, has the ability to multi-task in a face paced global environment and meet deadlines on a weekly basis. Ideally, he or she will have experience with consumer product goods. An understanding of the housewares industry is a plus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with iDesigns global digital marketing strategy & drive execution for both global, eComm. & B&M sales.
• Closely manage and monitor the company's social media accounts & offer constructive interaction with users.
• Aid to monetize social followership by actively tracking relevant KPIs like RPM, EMV, Impressions & Sales.
• Manage, deepen and promote strategic relationships with brand partners/influencers through communication and an understanding of their unique business needs.
• Aid in development of customer & brand partner specific go-to-market digital marketing strategies to compliment both B&M & Digitally native customer activation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute key digital marketing initiatives, collaborate directly with & develop joint activation strategies with the Brand Marketing, B&M & eCommerce Sales teams.
• Work with third-party agency partners to drive brand awareness in market, inclusive of Social Media, Brand Partners, etc.
• Develop monthly reports on results and emerging digital marketing trends that will be submitted to the management teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with social media channels and influencer programs.
• Superior PC skills with advanced capabilities in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Editing and proofreading skills is a plus.
• SEO understanding as it relates to product and meta data is a plus.
• Proven ability to perform the overall duties and responsibilities of this position with general guidance.
• Ability to complete assignments accurately and within the given deadlines. Must be able to plan accordingly when deadlines of current projects change.
• Ability to work independently and in group settings.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• College Degree in Marketing, Journalism or Communications is preferred. Experience working with social media is helpful. xhyhwjd
• 1-3 years previous experience in a comparable position with a consumer products company.
