Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has a Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into our Specialty Chemical Distribution (SCD) Division located in Germantown, WI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviews new customer accounts and checking customer credit history using commercial credit reporting service to determine credit standing and initial credit limit 


• Review customer sales tax exemption certificates to ensure sales tax compliance and ensure overall complete set up of customer file 


• Complete sales invoice billing daily and distribute invoices through proper channels


• Processes cash receipt adjustments as needed 


• Prepare and distribute weekly / monthly consolidated invoices 


• Process cash receipts, including all lockbox, electronic payment report and check reports for daily deposits 


• Preparing reports of daily collection metrics 


• Reconcile transaction report to bank totals daily to prepare for monthly cash reconciliation 


• Assist with credit card payment process as needed 


• Set up vendor files for customer refunds

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 + years of experience in a Accounting related function 


• High school diploma. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent


• Strong verbal and written communication


• Intermediate in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software


• Accuracy and attention to detail 


• Demonstrated ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
