NEXGEN Roofing is hiring an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to help lead our growing commercial production team.

This is not an entry-level project management position . We are looking for someone who has already managed complex commercial roofing projects, understands how to read a set of plans and specifications, can control budgets and schedules, and knows how to solve problems in the field without needing constant direction.

What You’ll Do:

The Project Manager will report to our Senior Project Manager and provide direct oversight and support to our field superintendents. You will simultaneously manage approximately 5–10 active commercial projects , ensuring each job stays on schedule, on budget, properly staffed, and effectively communicated.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout
• Oversee and hold project superintendents accountable for field execution
• Review and understand architectural plans, roofing details, specifications, scopes of work, and contract requirements
• Build and maintain project schedules and proactively address delays
• Track project budgets, labor, materials, production, and overall profitability
• Coordinate subcontractor crews, vendors, deliveries, equipment, inspections, and project logistics
• Maintain professional communication with owners, developers, general contractors, consultants, manufacturers, and internal teams
• Identify issues early and develop solutions before they become costly problems
• Manage RFIs, change-order opportunities, documentation, punch lists, and closeout requirements
• Ensure projects meet NEXGEN standards for quality, safety, communication, and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing or closely related commercial construction experience required.

Strong candidates will have:

• Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems and applications, including single-ply, modified bitumen, coatings, metal, and other common low-slope and steep-slope systems
• Strong ability to read plans, specifications, details, and scopes of work
• Proven experience managing projects against both a budget and a deadline
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Excellent communication with GCs, owners, developers, field personnel, and subcontractors
• Existing commercial roofing crew and subcontractor relationships are a major plus
• Ability to make decisions, take ownership, and solve problems in a fast-moving environment

We are specifically looking for someone who is organized, accountable, technically knowledgeable, and comfortable being responsible for the outcome of multiple projects at once .

• Starting salary of $75,000+ , based on experience

If your experience is primarily residential roofing, assistant project management, or managing only one project at a time, this position is likely not the right fit.
