As a Lean Practitioner, you will support and operationalize Lean initiatives and AI enablement efforts.The successful candidate will instruct and mentor others in continuous improvement tools, principles, and techniques, while developing and updating instructional materials and playbooks. They will collaborate within PACE to lead complex process improvement efforts, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and help develop, enhance, and deploy Lean tools, AI enablement efforts, and other process improvement best practices.This position can be based in any of the following locations: Arlington, VA; Auburn, WA; Bellevue, WA; Colorado Springs, CO; El Segundo, CA, Everett, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntington Beach, CA; Huntsville, AL; Long Beach, CA; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; Oklahoma City, OK; Plano, TX; Renton, WA; Ridley Park, PA; San Antonio, TX; Seal Beach, CA; Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.Position Responsibilities:Connect Lean principles, strategy, and execution to drive measurable results and continuous improvementMature the Seek, Speak, Listen closed-loop process and apply data analytics to daily Lean prioritiesDevelop and deploy systematic approaches to capture, replicate, and standardize innovations and best practicesRepresent Lean/continuous improvement in program reviews and strategic planningLead and facilitate complex, high-visibility process improvement effortsGuide the effective application and integration of Lean across the enterpriseDevelop integrated Lean strategy and support strategic deploymentImprove and standardize enterprise policies, procedures, and operating practicesAssess business capability and capacity to support improvement effortsTrain and instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principlesDevelop, update, and tailor instructional materials for different audiencesIdentify and apply new tools and techniques to strengthen Lean practiceBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience implementing Lean principles, to include identifying opportunities and making recommendations for value stream improvements that resulted in improved business position through culture transformation5+ years of experience planning and facilitating Lean+ workshops (e.g., BPSM /AIW / 3P / Kaizen / VSM, Process Mapping, AIW, DK)Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies, including the ability to integrate AI-driven insights into data architecture and analytics processesExperience researching and applying large language and generative AI modelsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higherProject management certificationExperience with business case development, stakeholder alignment, benefits capture, institutionalization, and continuous improvementsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
